Cookie policy
This site sets nothing before you make a choice. No cookies, no analytics script, no cookieless workaround. The banner asks first, and until you answer it, your visit leaves nothing behind.
Strictly necessary.
One localStorage key, arim-consent, stores whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we don't ask you on every page. That's it. It holds no identifier and tracks nothing.
Analytics, only if you accept.
If you choose "That's fine" in the banner, we load PostHog, an analytics tool hosted in the EU. It sets cookies and localStorage entries beginning ph_, which hold an anonymous identifier used to count visits and see which pages get read. They live for up to 12 months. We use the numbers in aggregate to improve the site: which pages get read, which get abandoned, which lead to audit requests. What we do with that data is covered in our privacy policy.
ph_* cookies and localStorage · anonymous visit counting · EU-hosted · up to 12 months
What we never set.
No advertising cookies. No third-party marketing cookies. No cross-site tracking. Declining changes nothing about how the site works. If a cookie ever turns up on this site that this page doesn't explain, tell us: that's a bug, not a policy change.
Changing your mind.
Clear this site's data in your browser (usually under site settings or privacy) and the banner will ask again on your next visit; whatever you choose then applies from that moment. If you accepted earlier and decline the second time, PostHog stops capturing. Or email maher@arim.uk and we'll sort it for you.
